One Galle Face is an iconic mixed-development located along the Galle Face green at the heart of Colombo’s business district. The One Galle Face project consisted of two residential towers of 52 floors with a large podium level, a large mall and a 32 floor tower offering premium office space. Completed in two stages, the landscaping works at the residential towers started in January 2018 and was completed on time in December 2018. The mall and the officer tower work started in October 2018 and was completed in October 2019. The project included a significant scope of works in level 1 and 6 with the supplying, lifting and handling of more than 3,000 cubic meters of soil and preparing planting boxes. The project also involved the supply and installation of over 350 palms and trees as well as over 50,000 shrubs and groundcover plants.
